Lawton Jeans
January, 2005, brought about some surprising changes for the citizens that call Lawton "home". News broke that a new style of jeans had been introduced by Lee Dungarees to be a part of their Buddy Lee Registered line. The were being called "Lawton" low-rise.
According to Joe Bugni, head of men's product design for Lee Jeans, "We searched small to mid-sized towns across America and realized that Lawton had the historical feel that connected with our jeans. It was a perfect name for our new jean."
