GREAT NEWS!!!!! Renee Eyers is going to be coordinating the City-Wide Garage Sale this year with the assistance of previous coordinator Heather Hennings. Click on the link below for a registration form if you would like to be involved. Please read the directions on the form and submit it to Renee. The City of Lawton is not involved with the Garage Sales except to help advertise through the informational sign and the city newsletters. Any questions must be addressed to Renee. CITY-WIDE CLEAN UP - SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 22 & 23, 2009
Each spring the City of Lawton and CHN Garbage team up to provide a day for our residents to get rid of appliances and other large items that don’t fit into the garbage can. This day has been set up for the Monday and Tuesday after Father’s Day, June 22 & 23, 2009.
Appliance stickers may be purchased for $10 at City Hall, and must be affixed to any appliance set out for pick up. Appliances needing stickers include stoves, microwaves, refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, televisions, furnaces, air conditioners, dehumidifiers and water heaters.
Above-mentioned appliances without stickers will not be picked up.
