The Lawton City Council meets regularly on the first Tuesday of the month. Council meetings are held in City Hall at 101 E Maple Street
and begin at 5:00 p.m.
Visitors are welcomed and encouraged to attend. If visitors wish Council to act on an item of particular interest,
they must contact the City Clerk 5 days prior to the meeting in order to be listed on the agenda. Only agenda items will be voted
on.
Building permit applications must be filled out completely, and returned with applicable payment to City Hall for consideration
by the Council. A building permit must be aquired prior to any construction.
Minutes & Newsletters
The City of Lawton publishes a monthly newsletter. This newsletter is delivered to all customers receiving a utility bill. Additional copies of the newsletter are available upon request at City Hall.
If you would like to have an item included in the newsletter, please contact the City Clerk prior to the 15th of the month before the scheduled distribution date. Distribution dates are the 1st day of each month.
